Analysis Tool for Breast MRI
TeraRecon released a new analysis tool to support assessment of MRI studies of breast tissue used for breast cancer screening.
The time-intensity analysis tools, available with Aquarius NPS, allows clinicians to identify regions for further analysis, including generation of images across time to evaluate change.
Other features of the technology include the ability to view all images of oblique planes, including upload and assessment of studies from outside institutions. The additional offering of a variety of display options, including side-by-side-, multi-phase, and 4D double oblique views support efficient interpretation and accurate determination of tumor site and size.
With the recent update of screening guidelines from the American Cancer Society that includes MRI screening for high risk women, tools to support assessment with MRI will support the work of radiologists.
