Mennen Line of Monitoring Tools Expanded
The VitaLogik 4000 Series was added to the patient monitoring line from Mennen Medical. The tool is one component of the company’s line of products available for widespread patient monitoring, as described on the company’s website.
The VitalLogik 4000 monitor is a small-sized unit that can match the needs of a wide range of monitoring situations. The system can be easily modified for a diverse range of requirements including pediatrics, intensive care, trauma units, the emergency room, neonatology, cardiology, the operating room, and in transportation settings.
The computerized monitor includes features that support data connectivity and embedded data storage. The system can also access a variety of different computerized networks supported within the healthcare facility, including Laboratory or Radiology systems. The unit provides visual display with a 1024 x 768 resolution display on a 12.1″ monitor. Even when all 12 waveforms are simultaneously displayed, the display is clear and legible.
Two different versions of the VitalLogik 4000 are currently available, a noninvasive monitor and an invasive monitor. The noninvasive monitor is the VitaLogik 4000 and the invasive monitor is the VitaLogik 4500.
The tool has been approved for use in both Europe and the United States. In addition to providing both monitoring tools, the company also develops and manufactures electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization systems.
