Information Builders Launches Performance Application

A new performance management application designed for healthcare payor and provider organizations has been developed by Information Builders. Health Data Management posted information about the new application for healthcare use.

The company’s WebFOCUS Performance Management Framework includes a variety of prefabriacted scorecards and templates. Those tools can be utilized to collect and assess a variety of measures; including clinical, operational, administrative, and financial. The software modules incorporate cost of care and reimbursement analysis, utilization and strategic planning, quality improvement, finance, physician profiling, demographics, inpatient reporting, outcomes, claims analyis, and case management.

The system uses internet technology to allow clinicians to collaborate on research endeavors. As well, critical performance indicators can be shared on web blogs to update employees across an organization. This can provide organization-wide updates on the critical performance measures and how desired results are expected to be achieved.
