OCS Modeling Technology Adopted by Misys
OCS, Inc. has developed tools that support web-based predictive modeling using algorithms to assess a patient’s risk level. The tool also considers unique patient characteristics in the modeling.
Misys Healthcare Systems announced a partnership with OCS to integrate this tool within the Misys Homecare Software. Additional tools available from OCS provide performance measurement and analytic software will also be implemented in the program designed for use by homecare organizations.
The goal of the collaboration, supported by integration of the two company’s systems, is to improve the quality and efficiency of home care. Secondary objectives include controlling costs for management of chronic conditions and decreasing readmission to hospitals.
