Contracts with State Continued for CompuMed

CompuMed, Incorporated has extended contracts with the Wyoming Department of Corrections and the Iowa Department of Corrections. Both of these contracts cover remote electrocardiogram (ECG) screening for state correctional departments through use of remote interpretation systems.

The contract with Iowa will extend the contract to provide remote cardiac screening for inmates. This will be completed on an as needed basis at nine different correctional facilities in the state.

The Wyoming contract, alternatively, is through Prison Health Services (PHS). CompuMed will continue their relationship by also providing remote cardiac screening for inmates.

CompuMed provides healthcare organizations with diagnostic software solutions. CompuMed provides remote ECG interpretation terminals and relevant services. These are particularly useful for those facilities that do not have the staff members available to interpret ECG findings. The companies primary clients include correctional facilities, as well as ambulatory centers and occupational health clinics.
