gloStream Wins Contract with Maryland Health Care Commission

The Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC) has opted to utilize tools from gloStream, Incorporated to support an effort across the state to implement electronic records. gloStream will specifically support implementation of the Maryland Electronic Health Record Adoption Acceleration Program.

This new program is intended to provide clinicians across the State with an array of tools to support productivity and efficiency of patient care. One component of this is creation of a statewide health information exchange.

MHCC completed a contract with gloStream to support EHR programming. This includes the EHR Demonstration program with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Factors cited by the MHCC for choosing to partner with gloStream include the company’s expertise in supporting practices through the process to implement and deploy an EHR. The company also provides on-call support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Practicing physicians across Maryland will have access to on-site support.
