Imaging Contracts Awarded by Premier

The Premier healthcare alliance’s group purchasing arm, Premier Purchasing Partners, announced the award of 21 new imaging contracts. Contracts were completed for both point-of-sale service agreements and diagnostic imaging products. A press release detailing the awards was released by Premier.

The contracts commenced October 1st. Members of the Premier healthcare alliance from the acute and continuum of care facilities are able to take advantage of the contracts.

Contract awards include:

  • GE Healthcare for Bone Densitometry,
  • GE, Philips Medical Systems, and Toshiba America Medical Systems for Cardiovascular Imaging,
  • FujiFilm Medical Systems USA, GE, Philips, Quantum Medical Imaging, Swissray, and Toshiba for General Radiology,
  • GE and Philips for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI),
  • GE for Mammography,
  • GE and Philips for Molecular Imaging, including Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT, and
  • GE, Philips, and Toshiba for Ultrasound.
