North Carolina System Implements Centricity Enterprise

The Moses Cone Health System in North Carolina has adopted the Centricity Healthcare Solution. The organization adopted the latest version of the software, 6.1, as detailed in a release from GE Healthcare.

The facility already utilizes a number of products from GE Healthcare, with a Centricity based system. The company implemented a system called Clinician Assessment and Noting, which is a nursing application. This solution streamlines the process for documentation and improves compliance with best practices.

The system’s approach to documentation supports workflow during delivery of care. Features include a structured method for data entry and means to enter free text. The health system allows clinicians to enter patient data across the facility.

Features of the system will support the healthcare organization with future software deployments to increase functionality. Planned additions to the system include Computerized Physician Order Entry and Barcode Medication Administration.

Moses Cone is a multi-hospital health system based in Greensboro. The system additionally provides an array of outpatient services.
