Toshiba Signs Contract with Premier

Premier Purchasing Partners signed an agreement with Toshiba America Medical Systems for the company’s MRI products, as well as their point-of-sale service agreements. News of the contract was described on the Premier website.

The deal for MRI equipment is available for all the acute and long-term care facilities who are members of the Premier healthcare alliance. Toshiba is the newest company to join with Premier’s magnetic imaging portfolio.

This new partnership is the newest contract completed by Premier with diagnostic imaging providers. The purchasing organization has already completed agreements with a number of other companies that provide imaging tools including GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, and Toshiba. Other contracts have been completed with suppliers of radiography tools.
