Wellmark and MDdatacor Extend Contract
Wellmark, Incorporated announced completion of a contract extension with MDdatacor, Incorporated. The deal is an extended contract between the two organizations whereby MDdatacor will provide support for the Collaboration on Quality SM Incent and Reward Best Practices initiative.
Over the past two years, the partnership between the two organizations has supported increased attention to improvements in health outcomes for patients with high blood pressure and diabetes. The program will now be expanded to include cancer screenings, asthma, and childhood immunizations.
MDdatacor provides healthcare quality management solutions for healthcare providers and health plans. The company’s technology CareInformatix TM has been utilized in this effort. That system supports collection and analysis of claims data, as well as data from clinical records.
The Collaboration effort is a program between primary care clinicians and Wellmark to increase efficiency and promote improvements in the quality of care delivered.
