Zynchros Tools Adopted by Regence
Regence, a health insurance company that covers the Intermountain and Northwest Region, announced plans to adopt tools from Zynchros.com.. Zynchros will provide a platform for creating, managing, and distributing formularies.
The formularies that Zynchros supports include Medicare Part D, as well as other commercial insurers. The integration of these tools can reduce operating costs, while simultaneously improving the pharmacy benefits offered to patients.
Regence noted their positive experiences using the Zynchros system, which was utilized to create and submit the company’s Medicare Part D formulary for 2009. The same system was also used to submit supplemental filings. The company plans to integrate the Commercial Plan Pro module for those formulary services.
Over three million individuals have health insurance coverage from Regence. It is the largest insurer in the region described.
