HealthSouth Sells Divisions
HealthSouth has sold off two of its divisions: outpatient and diagnostics.
Select Medical Corporation completed its acquisition of HealthSouth’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Division on May 1st. Select has more than 1,100 outpatient rehabilitation centers in the United States.
The Gores Group is planning to purchase the diagnostic division for approximately $47.5 million in a deal expected to finalize over the summer. The diagnostic division includes over 50 imaging centers.
