Liberty Information Acquired by Hyland
Liberty Information Management Systems has been purchased by Hyland Software. The details of the private transaction were not shared publicly.
Liberty offers an established array of channel partners, with over 1,000 IMS client organizations. As well, this will expand the reseller channel base of Hyland through Liberty’s established array of partners with expertise in supporting and selling COLD/ERM, document imaging, and workflow solutions.
Hyland develops an enterprise content management (ECM) software suite, OnBase. The company has been experiencing significant growth within the ECM market.
The acquisition will further support the expansion of Hyland’s presence in central Canada and the western United States. Liberty offices in California and Ottawa will be maintained, supporting this expansion.
