NeuroCom International Acquired by Natus Medical

Natus Medical Incorporated announced that it has finalized the acquisition of NeuroCom. The deal entails a cash price of $18 million and is expected to finalize at the end of October 2008.

NeuroCom develops and manufactures tools for patients with mobility and balance disorders, including systems used for rehabilitation and assessment of disease. The company specifically develops computerized tools. The company also created a range of assessment protocols to assess underlying impairments and functional limitations in patients.

The team at Natus Medical notes that the acquisition will expand the company’s neurology footprint. The company develops tools for an array of different medical conditions including computerized neurodiagnostic systems.
