Lawson Software Partners with SciQuest
SciQuest, Incorporated announced the establishment of a partnership with Lawson Software. The partnership is intended to support procurement efforts. Through this partnership, clients of Lawson Software will be able to utilize the Procurement Punchout application from Lawson integrated with the SpendQuest system from SciQuest.
SpendQuest is an on-demand solution that supports an eprocurement platform. The tool integrates supplier enablement and catalog management, a requirement for many materials managers. This offers materials managers ease during ordering with an experience that is similar to online shopping.
Tracking spending is increasingly important in the strained healthcare environment. The system particularly supports tracking of purchases outside of established procurement protocol and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Lawson has more than 4,000 existing customers. That includes more than 500 different healthcare organizations and ten integrated healthcare systems.
