New CEO Named by GE Healthcare
The current Chairman and CEO of General Electric, Jeff Immelt, named John Dineen the new CEO and president of GE Healthcare. A press release was issued by the technology giant about the appointment.
Mr. Dineen has worked for GE for over 22 years. Beginning in 2005, he was appointed as the CEO and President of GE Transportation. Prior to that, he held the post of vice president and general manager of Plastics with GE Advanced Materials. The appointment requires Mr. Dinnen to relocate to London, the headquarters of GE Healthcare.
Joseph Hogan is leaving the post of president and CEO for GE Healthcare. He has accepted a post with ABB as CEO, which will commence September 1st.
The new CEO and president of GE Transportation was simultaneously named, Lorenzo Simonelli. Simonelli will replace Mr. Dineen in the post.
