AHRQ Releases Report on States

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released a report on June 11th, State Snapshots. This is the third year in a row the agency has released this evaluation on healthcare status among all 50 states. A new component this year is the addition of a comprehensive score for each state.

Wisconsin received the highest raking according to the report. Louisiana was at the bottom of the list. The report noted general improvements in healthcare quality and safety during the past year.
