Blood Bank Automation Tool
Eclipsys Corporation added to it Sunrise Laboratory LIS with the recent approval of the PowerBank Enterprise Edition, which assists with organization and distribution of a hospital’s blood bank.
The comprehensive system automates activities of the blood bank, including inventory and distribution of blood products; tracking products from the banks to delivery at patient bedside.
The tool can also collect data to derive patient profiles; ensuring product compatibility and facilitating determination of appropriate cross-matches.
