Grunding Promoting Digital Dictation

Grundig Business Systems is promoting their digital dictation technology; the company is offering three different starter kits to allow healthcare practitioners the opportunity to evaluate the products at a lower price point.

The systems are all designed for smaller practices, components can be used on a maximum of ten computers on one network. A system upgrade can be acquired to expand the number of computers using the software. Login to the system is facilitated with Windows software and system set up is accomplished with a standard installation wizard. The system works seamlessly with voice recognition software.

The Digta Transcription Starter Kit includes the required components for the company’s digital transcription system; the DigtaSoft PC application software, hardware pieces, including the dictation machine, and the licenses. Components of the hardware include DigtaFootpedal 538 USB and the DigtaStethoclip 518 USB headphones. The starting price for the starter kit is $263, according to the report on Health Imaging.

The DigtaDesktop Stater Kit is also available, with a $623 price tag. This system is designed for practices where most dictation is completed in the clinical office. In addition to the above mentioned components, the system also includes the DigtaSonic xMic Classic. All the relevant licenses are packaged with the system. The other starter system available is the DigtaMobile Starter Kit.

The company announced the launch of a new microphone, designed specifically with ergonomic considerations in mind at the beginning of August. That component is included in the Desktop Starter Kit.
