eCommerce Sales Channel Launched by Merge

Merge Healthcare launched a new channel, an eStore Affiliate program, that allows participants to sell eFilm Workstation products as well as other eCommerce products that are offered by the organization’s eCommerce website. The introduction of the channel was described in a press release on the company’s website.

This effort is an extension of the eCommerce channel, an effort that allows the organization to test, purchase, license, and gain user support for products for the eFilm Workstation. Future efforts will include other eCommerce products as they are developed in the future.

The effort will build on the collaborations and partnerships that Merge has been developing with organizations that sell eFilm. The website will offer the opportunity to re-sell products by those partners. The site will enable partners to automate many of the activities involved in selling the solution, including generation of quotes for products, providing customers with downloads, and completing orders.

Organizations that complete the requisite agreement to participate in the effort will be eligible to receive commissions on the products that they sell. They can additionally create their own page within the site to generate business, through which communication can be coordinated.

Merge offers products for medical imaging and information management software and services. Solutions developed by the company are utilized by OEM and end-user healthcare organizations.
