Novation Completes Cardiovascular Agreements
Novation has completed 33 different multi-source contracts to provide broad range of products within the company’s portfolio of cardiovascular offerings. The completed deals are expected to save Novation consortium members up to $267 million. The agreements commenced October 1st and will continue through September 30th 2010.
The new production offerings from Novation comprise the largest array of cardiovascular products available. Among the products categories included in the contracts are electrophysiology, percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary diagnostic, vascular closure devices, peripheral interventional, peripheral diagnostic, thrombus management, neuro interventional, and cardiac rhythm management.
13 different companies received contracts from Novation, including Abbott Vascular, Bard EP and Bard Peripheral, Boston Scientific, Cardiva Medical, ev3, Marine Polymer, Merit Medical, Medtronic, Terumo, and TZ Medical.
Novation provides healthcare contracting services for the University HealthCare Consortium (UHC) and VHA, Inc. Both of those organizations are national health care alliances.
