eHealth Global Nets New Contracts

The University of Arkansas, the University of Michigan Health System, and Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System all completed contracts with eHealth Global. Each of the healthcare organizations plans to implement the company’s eHealthConnect system.

The new solution is designed to streamline management of medical records system used in the course of care for patients undergoing solid organ transplant. The eHealth clinical customer support team collects disparate information, such as imaging studies and medical records. The records are put into a digitized format.

Hospitals can access the digitized records through a secure delivery method, which is chosen by each facility depending on their existing IT infrastructure and needs.

This service supports the key needs of transplant programming. Such departments require collection of an extensive medical history that includes laboratory, pathology, and radiology reports and imaging studies. All of this information is useful in listing a patients for organ transplant.

The eHealth system assists with collection of all this data; supporting the listing of patients in a more timely manner. As well, the tool can streamline updated listings.
