Horizon Product Line Expanded
McKesson announced the availability of the newest solution in the company’s line of Horizon clinical and financial systems. Horizon Enterprise Revenue Management is a software application that supports enterprisewide revenue cycle management. McKesson suggests that product has a completely different means to complete financial oversight.
The new system facilitates streamlined financial management. Features include a rule-based software design which allows improved prediction of facility cash flow and revenue. That feature incorporates historical data from healthcare payors and predicts patient volume to define cash projections.
Additional features support patients, allowing them access to services. The software can generate expected payments so that patients may determine their financial responsibility both before and during care delivery. The company’s RelayHealth service additionally supports connectivity with patients.
The system is interoperable with the existing line of Horizon solutions available from McKesson. It can also be linked with clinical and financial solutions from other companies.
