New Viewer Launched by eHealth Global
The newest version of the eHealthViewer system from eHealth Global Technologies was released. The system provides viewing capabilities for smart phones and Windows mobile devices, as well as with a Windows computer system.
If the system is used in cooperation with viewing tools from the company, specifically the eHealthConnect system, the images assessed are diagnostic quality. Clinicians also have access to complete radiology reports that accompany the images.
Also incorporated into the system are measurement tools to assess anatomy. These also support clinicians complete multi-planar reformats (MPR), 3-D image rendering, and digital subtraction angiography on the fly.
This system is a lightweight client with high levels of security that provide high speed viewing over many networks, as well as firewalls. The viewer can be deployable on demand and requires little involvement from IT.
The system is being deployed by the Rochester Regional Health Initiative (RHIO).
