Two New Laptops Introduced
Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation announced the launch of two new tablet PCs. The two new Lifebook systems both have the Intel Centrino 2 processor technology.
These two new products are among the lightest systems currently available. Both incorporate a pen interface, a keyboard, and a 13.3 inch screen. Included is a bi-directional display screen, to support maximum visibility.
The T5010 weighs in at 4.5 pounds and is the next generation of the company’s T4220. The T1010 is a bit heavier than the other laptop. This version is less expensive than the T5010 as the security features incorporated are less stringent than those used in the other new tablet.
One of the markets the company plans to target is the healthcare sector. Either system could be used, for example, by clinicians during rounds to complete note taking.
Fujitsu also announced the launch of six new Lifebook notebook systems which also have the Intel Centrino 2 processor.
