Workforce Management Suite Launched by McKesson

McKesson Provider Technologies introduced a new suite of products for workforce management. The goal of the system is to support providers in their efforts to balance life and work responsibilities. The system further aids communication between and amongst healthcare providers. The new system is detailed on the McKesson website.

This new system is a component of the Patient Care Advantage program from McKesson. The tool supports organizational staffing, both within different departments of a facility and across the continuum of care. The system is anchored by the ANSOS One-Staff product, a leading solution for nursing and staff management. The staffing functionality of the system responds as the needs of patients vary.

Specific features of the tool include scheduling, enterprise productivity, and staffing management. Attendance and open shift capabilities are additionally included. Management of payroll and human resources are other functions incorporated into the system. Access to these resources can empower healthcare staff members.

Information is provided to users with web-based dashboards that highlight key data points required to support business decision-making. Access to human resources information is available in a web-based format.
