New Tool Offered for Orthopaedic Planning

Cedara Software unveiled a new application for the orthopaedic market that supports planning for routine procedures in the specialty.

The program, OrthoWorks ProPlanner, was crafted to support integration of digital pictures into surgical planning. Specific applications include trauma, joint arthroscopy, and deformity correction, among others.

The software allows users to obtain measurements and can create reports. This can be combined with CAD templates of orthopaedic device manufacturers, which are integrated with the system.
