Storage Solution for Small Samples Unveiled
New technology tools have allowed for procurement of smaller tissue samples for histopathologic review, often using imaging support for collection guidance. The changing nature of specimens demands an alternative solution for storage.
McCormick Scientific created a smaller sized cassette (pdf) to store such samples, the MicrOflow II Mini Cassette. The minisystem and cassettes can be used throughout processing and evaluation in the laboratory setting.
