Analogic Launches LIFEGARD II Non-Invasive Patient Monitors
Analogic’s new LIFEGARD II patient monitors come in four versions, some with ICG (Impedance CardioGraphy) and/or CO2 specifications. Thoracic Electrical Bioimpedance (TEB) is used to measure continuous cardiac output. As non-invasive, portable devices, they provide comprehensive and versatile hemodynamic monitoring even in non-acute environments such as doctors’ offices. With a 3- to 4-hour battery life, these products are adapted to patient transport. And unlike conventional invasive tools, non-invasive monitoring is quick and pose no risk of infections. The Lifegard II range covers general-purpose monitoring needs as well as some specialty needs related to advanced hemodynamics and patient ventilation.
Parameters measured:
- Continuous Cardiac Output - ICG (Impedance Cardiography) to calculate 17 hemodynamic values
- Continuous airway CO2 and airway breath rate
- ECG - 3-lead acquisition with pacemaker detection
- Heart Rate - Detected via ECG, SpO2, or NIBP
- Respiration - Transthoracic impedance
- Pulse Oximetry - Nellcor-compatible with selectable response modes including “Sat Seconds” alarm management
- Blood Pressure - manual, automatic, and stat modes supported by an indicator for elapsed time since last measurement
- Temperature - YSI Series 400 compatible thermistor probes
