Stem Cell Products Unveiled by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Thermo Fisher Scientific unveiled a new line a products targeted for stem cell researchers, the Thermo Scientific Stem Cell Excellence program. The company published a press release describing the new offerings.
Combined in this new product offering are a variety of tools and services utilized in the conduct of stem cell research. The four key steps of stem cell workflow organize the product offerings: collection/preparation, expansion/differentiation, characterization/analysis, and storage/transport.
The company owns a wide range of best in class products for this area of investigation. Included in the Stem Cell Excellence program are consumables from the Nunc and Nalgene product lines, lab instruments from the lines of Revco, Forma, Sorvall, and Heraeus, stem cell media from the HyClone Advance Stem line of products, and Barnstead purified water. Key technologies are also offered including Matrix liquid handling automation tools and Nautilus LIMS software.
An additional component of the Excellence program is a web-based portal that includes information about all the products available from Thermo Scientific to support stem cell research efforts.
