Sleep Apnea Devices Recalled

ResMed, an Australian equipment company, announced a voluntary recall of air-flow generators used for obstructive sleep apnea. The S8 flow generators may develop a short circuit and cause the ignition of materials around the device. The problem was noted in seven of 300,000 devices manufactured over a period extending almost two years.
