Vocollect Expands AccuNurse System
The AccuNurse system has been expanded by Vocollect Healthcare Systems, Inc. to integrate with an electronic paging system for nurses. The system also includes a voice activation feature to page resident rooms in the long term care setting.
The system directly transmits a page to the appropriate caregiver. If a nurse is busy, the page can be directed to the nursing station. According to Vocollect, its product enables tracking of caregiver pages, as well as the time to response. It also allows nurses to be reached by patients requiring attention when the nurse is not at the nursing station.
