Philips Launches Integrated Solution for Electrophysiology

Philips Medical Solutions revealed a new product to support activities in Electrophysiology (EP), called the EP cockpit.

This integrated solution facilitates an adjustable lab setting and control with a mouse and one keyboard. Equipment racks are suspended from the ceiling and can be easily moved to accomodate ideal placement.

The system includes software for patient records that allows access to records and supports storage and archiving. EP navigator can be integrated into the system, which is an advanced imaging tool.

Philips created the EP cockpit to combat some of the clutter often found in the EP labs which may interfere with optimal patient care. An additional benefit is the ability to manage data effectively and efficiently.
