Laser for Acne Unveiled

Aesthera Corporation introduced its new laser system, Isolaz (Deep Pore Lazr Therapy), indicated to treat acne, vascular or pigmented lesions, and permanent hair reduction. The system utilizes the Company’s Photopneumatic Technology, a completely pain-free laser system.

The device combines pneumatic energy and laser light to purify pores, resulting in the clearing of both inflammatory acne and acne vulgaris. It is also indicated to treat pustular and comedonal acne.

Isolaz therapy has a superior side effect profile compared to oral medications, topical therapies, and traditional lasers. Patients do not experience side effects common with current acne treatments including redness, sun sensitivity, and peeling.

Further, patients may note improvements almost immediately, within 24-28 hours of treatment. Lesions are dried out and flattened following therapy, which may take less than ten minutes.
