Radio Frequency (RF) for Aesthetic Medicine

Alma Laser’s Accent Dual Mode RF System, for treatment of wrinkles and rhytids, received marketing approval from the FDA.

The product delivers volumetric thermotherapy to the desired tissue depth at various anatomic locations through combined delivery of two distinct RF modes contained within handpieces for delivery.

The non-invasive and -ablative system is well tolerated by patients who desire skin tightening with minimal pain. The easy to use system also takes less time for clinicians performing procedures, garnering practitioner enthusiasm.

The system is already being used widely throughout Europe.
