Endoscope Component Cleared for Marketing

A new endoscope component from Sialo Technology Israel, Limited received marketing clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This is the second indication for the company’s tool.

This new device is a polymeric drain that is used in conjunction with endoscopix surgery to remove stones in the salivary gland. The system drains patient saliva following completion of the surgical procedure.

This tool is already indicated to support preparation of salivary gland stones for surgical removal. The system was already cleared for marketing in Europe.
