Wireless Technology for Reflux

The Restech Dx-pH Measurement system is a wireless technology to diagnose laryngopharyngeal reflux disease (LPRD).

This condition is difficult to diagnose with other tools conventionally used for reflux because those are generally not suitable for assessment above the esophagus.

The device, manufactured by Restech, is a key tool in light of evidence that therapy with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) may not be superior to no therapy for LPRD. In addition to diagnosis, the Restech Dx-System, can be used as a tool to monitor ongoing disease and, thus, assess therapeutic value of treatments.
