Tool Supports Oncology Billing

At the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, IntrinsiQ unveiled IntelliCharge, which supports billing for chemotherapeutic agents. The device is used in conjunction with the company’s drug delivery software, IntelliDose.

The system synchronizes billing practices with drug delivery by linking IntelliDose software, powered with IntelliCharge, to a practice’s billing system. Appropriate coding required for billing purposes (such as CPT) are based on notes from patient’s charts during chemotherapy treatment visits.

This supports maximization of resources by reducing lost or missed charges.

Reporting on the IntelliCharge system was described in PR Newswire.
