Paperless Systems for OB/GYN Practices Launched

A new electronic healthcare product designed for obstetrics and gynecology practices was launched by Sevocity. A press release describes the new software solution, Sevocity 4.2.

The Sevocity 4.2 system streamlines appointment scheduling with patients by moving scheduling from a paper-based system to a paperless environment. The system is a secure access web-based electronic health system.

The solution is noted to be user-friendly. Features incorporated in the Sevocity 4.2 noted include five different encounter types for documenting office visits. Procedure notes can be completed in minutes and don’t require transcription. Information for any patient visit is tracked with the system, including a delivery summary and postpartum information. The system also facilitates billing and coding.

Charts can be color-coded to simplify identification of those patients who are pregnant. Doctors can use the system to generate an estimated due date report. As well, a patient’s weight can be monitored throughout their pregnancy to monitor changes. Also incorporated is a system to notify clinicians about RhoGAM requirements for patients prior to delivery.

The product was developed in collaboration with a Customer Advisory Panel of physicians who specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. Sevocity is a division of Conceptual MindWorks, Incorporated. The software will be launched to clinicians across the country.
