Implant System Approved

ArthroCare Corporation received FDA approval for a new implant system for orthopaedic indications that require attaching bone with soft tissue.

The Magnum PI Knotless Implant System is manufactured from polyetheretherketone. Many currently available implants are derived from metal.

The material is generally used for shoulder and foot operations, such as rotator cuff or Achilles tendon repair.

The product extends the offerings for ArthroCare’s Opus line for Sports Medicine.
