Bone Graft Line Launched
Globus Medical, Inc. released a line of bone grafting products, the NuBone Osteoinductive Bone Graft product line.
The products are manufactured from cortical bone and include an osteoinductive demineralized bone matrix. These characteristics support osteoinductivity.
The first two products to be released are the NuBone DBM Putty and NuBone DBM Gel. These two are for use in reconstructive bone grafting procedures, such as with spinal fusion and trauma.
These two products are the first foray of Globus into the biomaterials market. The company plans to continue its expansion in the area.
