Jaundice Device Showcased

GE Healthcare is highlighting its new treatment system for infants who have indirect hyperbilirubinemia. The BiliSoft LED Phototherapy System uses blue LED and fiberoptic-based technology integrated into a single device that considers the newborn setting in the hospital nursery.

Six blue LEDs with a large light pad can be used with any infants suffering jaundice, even those born premature. The BiliSoft provides more intensive lights and a larger surface area for treatment delivery. This design also allows for infant positioning as required to support growth or swaddling to comfort infants.
