Imaging Chip Clarifies Pictures
Analog Devices, Inc. designed an imaging chip capable of improving the quality of images derived from ultrasound in settings were imaging quality may be lesser, such as the use of portable devices in the outpatient setting.
The chip, the AD9271, includes an eight channel ultrasound receiver in a single device. This lessens the burden for ultrasound equipment; lower the requirements for signal path and power settings.
