Laptop-Sized Ultrasound Hits Market

The growing market of portable ultrasound expanded with the addition of the LOGIQ i compact ultrasound from GE Healthcare. A prototype was initially debuted last year at the Radiological Society of North America.

The system includes wireless transmission of raw ultrasound data stored on the device. It includes CrossXBeam imaging; suitable for general imaging studies.

The small unit weighs in at ten pounds.
