Mammography PACS Tool Launched by INFINITT
Mammo PACS is a new, web-based PACS solution introduced by INFINITT North America. This multi-modality system is for the display, reading, archiving, and distribution of breast imaging studies.
The INFINITT system utilizes a flat panel, 5 megapixel grayscale monitor. The solution provides users with the tools necessary for mammography interpretation. Users can assess imaging from general radiography studies, full-field digital mammography, ultrasound, and MRI with a single workstation.
Additional features included in the system support workflow in the radiology setting. Some of those are access to digitized priors, automated presets for display, hanging protocols, and comparative review.
Advantages noted by INFINITT include availability of digital imaging. The system also supports integration, wide-area access, and customization. The company notes that these features are available with their other products.
