RADinfo Systems shared its bestselling product at the annual Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting, PowerPACS Web Server Plus. The solution contains the complete workings for an effective PACS system with a modest price tag.
The system is targeted for smaller organizations, but extends capabilities of traditional PACS system. Internet access allows clinicians to review both images and reports from any secure computer.
Additionally, the system contains tools for acquisition, archiving, distribution, and management of images. Software also contains tools for off-site archives, to prevent loss of studies in the event of a disaster.
