New Image-Guided Therapy System

Traxtal, Inc. and Philips Medical Systems collaborated to create a navigation system for soft tissue therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. The system is on display at the World Conference on Interventional Oncology.

The Traxtal PercuNav system is for use by interventional radiologists who perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, among them radio-frequency ablation and biopsies. This sytem supports guidance of devices used in minimally invasive procedures through electromagnetic tracking technology.
