New Toshiba Ultrasound Installed

Toshiba’s newest system, the Aplio XG, has its first home in Las Vegas. The Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging practice is the first facility to install the new system.

The system’s imaging components have improved image quality with high contrast and resolution. This assists diagnosis of abnormalities in small anatomic structures, as well as providing better image quality in obese patients.

The current design iteration of the Aplio system integrated ergonomic design features to support ease of use and Bluetooth technology that allows remote operation by technicians.

The high end system includes 4D capabilities and multi-slice views for sequential imaging, similar to that with CT and MRI. The slice parameters can be modified.
